Full Circle also offers driving and long-lining training for both horses and owners. Both long lining and pleasure driving offer horses a break from saddle work and provide a wonderful opportunity for them to gain fitness with less stress on joints, muscles and minds. They learn and understand "forward," plus carry and push from behind using non-invasive techniques. One cluck and off you go!

Driving horses here work in both our indoor and outdoor rings, plus go cross country and compete at horse shows.

The two disciplines offer the owner not only the opportunity to learn new and useful skills, but also develop an "eye" for evaluating their horses' movement, rhythm and quality of gaits from the ground.

This phase of our program is taught by Clarke Vesty, a life-long horseman whose professional talents lie in developing the harness horse. He teaches all our dressage horses to long line, preparing the youngsters to move on to saddle work, and many of our horses now drive.
